Ms. Hart's law practice is limited to federal intellectual property matters, primarily patents and trademarks. Her client base is comprised primarily of small to mid-size corporations, as well as solo patent attorneys and small law firms.

Lauren Hart was enrolled in special programs in science and foreign language starting in elementary school. Eventually, she earned a bachelor's degree in microbiology, and a master's in chemistry. After a few years in food quality R&D, she moved from the lab bench to the world of high technology, where she continues to work to this day.  Ms. Hart's demonstrated talent for marketing, advertising, and management, eventually moved her into the executive suite.

Determining that her path lay in combining her core strengths -- science, management, and writing, Ms. Hart reinvented herself -- first as a technical and business analyst, and later as a patent attorney and consultant.
